PBCFSI serves the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation (PBCN) communities of Kinoosao, Southend, Deschambault Lake, Pelican Narrows, Sandy Bay, Amisk Lake, Sturgeon Landing, Kiskachewan and the central office at the Chief Joseph Custer Reserve in the city of Prince Albert and has become one of the largest First Nation Child & Family Services agencies in Saskatchewan and in Canada.
There are over 200 employees working for PBCFSI, a majority being PBCN members.
Currently PBCFSI has Eight (8) offices located in the communities of Kinoosao, Southend, Deschambault Lake, Pelican Narrows, Sandy Bay, Amisk Lake, Sturgeon Landing and the central office at the Chief Joseph Custer Reserve in the city of Prince Albert, including Kiskachewan. In addition, PBCFSI has one group home located in Pelican Narrows, two Family Wellness Centres located in Deschambault Lake and Sandy Bay, 3 receiving homes located in Pelican narrows and Southend and 2 Emergency homes in Pelican Narrows.
